§ 22-86. Preservation of natural features.

  • Every development and subdivision shall be designed to preserve to the fullest extent possible all natural features of the land such as large trees and water courses; all historic areas or features; and the like, which add to the attractiveness or environmental or historic value of the land and the proposed development or subdivision. Every development and subdivision shall satisfy all requirements of law applicable to stormwater management, tree preservation and other natural resource protections. Every developer shall be required to dedicate, or record restrictive covenants against, all land as required or necessary to protect such natural and historic features.
