§ 14-69. Disorderly conduct—Fighting.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful for any person to commit disorderly conduct by fighting within the Village of Libertyville. A person commits the offense of disorderly conduct by fighting when he or she knowingly starts or engages in a fight with another person in any public or private place in the Village of Libertyville. "Fight" is defined as any form of physical combat, not predetermined as a sporting event.

    (b)

    A person convicted of a violation of any provision of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined not less than fifteen dollars ($15.00) and not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) for each offense.
